I received my Bachelor of Arts degree in Early Childhood Education and Math/Computer Science from Boston College in December of 1993.  Because I loved living in Boston, I decided to continue my education there.  I went on to earn my Master of Education degree in Special Education from Boston College in May of 1995.

While studying for my undergraduate and graduate degrees, I was fortunate to have several internship opportunities in downtown Boston and in the surrounding suburbs.  I've always enjoyed working at the elementary level, in both regular and special education settings.  After leaving Boston, I taught Special Education grades K-5 for one year in Laie, Hawaii.  My school was located on the north shore of Oahu, across the street from the beach!  As beautiful as it was, I was happy to come back home to start my new position at Clintonville.  I began here as a Special Ed. teacher for one year.  After that, I taught Kindergarten for 17 years and loved everything about it.  Now I am looking forward to my fourth year in second grade.  I will be starting my 22nd year at Clintonville and I know it will be great!

I live in Kensington with my husband and two children.  My husband and I celebrated our 19th wedding anniversary this summer!  My daughter, Jenna, is 15 years old and is going into the 10th grade at Berlin High School. My son, Jake, is 13 years old and is going into the 8th grade.
